Webgate was founded in 2011 by Derek Davidson to help individuals and organizations learn how to use, and implement scrum.
Using scrum, it is possible both to deliver more value, improve your work life and remain competitive in a fast changing world.
About the Webgate Blog
There has always been a blog about scrum here at Webgate. If you want to learn about the scrum framework, software development with scrum, or scrum tactics and techniques, it’s all here. In fact, if you simply want advice on how to pass your scrum assessment, that’s covered too.
For those in a rush to learn scrum (and why not?), Derek teaches scrum and provides coaching services for scrum or agile teams.
About Derek Davidson
Derek is a Professional Scrum Trainer with Scrum.org, the scrum organization created by scrum co-creator, Ken Schwaber.
He has been involved in software for many years and was one of the first people to become enthused by the seminal work “Extreme Programming, Embrace Change” by Kent Beck.
In 2000, he had the chance to implement “Extreme Programming” and grabbed the opportunity. From that day forward, he has remained convinced that agile software development is the best way for software organizations to improve. Improve their products. Improve their work place. Improve their longevity in a fast changing world.
In his spare (?) time, Derek enjoys DIY and computer gaming. He’s threatened to blog about them some day!
