Face to Face Communications

A face-to-face meeting for Professional Scrum Trainers in Stuttgart November 2014

Why Face to Face?

Agile coaches and scrum masters are fans of face to face communications. They’re great because we can read nuance, emotion, body language and osmotic communication.

What happens when we can’t do this and end up having a video conference or, worse still, a telephone conference?

The videos below use humour to positive effect and are worth a few minutes of your time (but maybe avoid the commercials at the end)

ps: The image at the top of the email is a group of Professional Scrum Trainers at an annual ‘Face to Face’ meeting. We travel hundreds of miles to come together and talk about scrum.  If you look hard enough, you’ll find me in there.

How to Pass the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) Assessment

In March 2012, I sat the Professional Scrum Master I assessment provided by Scrum.org.  I did not attend any formal training beforehand and relied only on my experience and exam preparation.  In this article, I tell you how I prepared for, and passed, the Professional Scrum Master I assessment.
